Rite of Passage/Vision Quest2012I will lead you through an initiatory process, complete with 24 hours alone on the land. Here you will have the opportunity to enter into a deep relationship with yourself, your ancestors, and your spirit allies with the intention of transforming yourself, and the dream you are currently living. Together we will explore what is your destiny and discover the path that leads you there. Rites of Passage/Vision Quest have been an integral aspect of the life way of all ancient cultures, throughout time. These Rites are an honoring of life transitions and mark the important crossroads of one’s life. They expand one’s understanding of existence and affirm life during a time when great changes are taking place. In our modern culture these ceremonies are all but lost...at least they are unrecognizable as initiation, primarily because we no longer ritualize or contextualize them.
What is communicated in the course of Rite of Passage and Vision Quest is an understanding of the world that grows out of the spiritual and mythical tradition of one's own life and worldview. What is involved is not just instruction in the modern sense of the word. In order to become a vessel for these sacred teachings, you must be spiritually prepared first. What is conveyed in Rite of Passage and Vision Quest is a kind of knowledge that transcends the objective and separate experience of our world. You begin to enter the world of the Divine, the world of the supernatural, and the idea that the world and its construction is sacred.
